Portugal, 1932. Sebastião is fascinated by the DEVIL'S LITTLE COUPLE, the story of two imps who arrive at night and take the souls of children who don't want to sleep. SPEA Bycatch https://spea.pt/en/help-us-stopbycatch/ On World Oceans Day, we’ve launched Stop Bycatch, a fundraising campaign to prevent the incidental capture of seabirds in fishing gear – one of the biggest threats to the world’s most endangered bird group. Every year, an estimated 200 thousand seabirds – such as gannets, shearwaters and razorbills – die in European waters, accidentally caught in fishing nets, lines and hooks. Opening titles for the Portuguese public television series ODISSEIA. Some iconic scenes from the episodes are recreated in stop motion with miniatures, using the actual production office as a background for the action. Each episode opening titles differs from one another in some fashion, each one featuring and adding a new detail to the whole ensemble. The authors of the series saw the short stop motion animation film Les Paysages (vimeo.com/43819248) and found it very in sync with the project they had in hands therefore commissioning these animated sequences. In a dystopian future, humankind harvests the stars for its resources. Stranded on a planet on the edge of space-time, lies the colossal space freighter DÉDALO.
